I learnt the appreciation of plants and the way landscape design interacts with architecture. The corelation between closed spaces and open, green areas can be a delightful one to explore. Along with the landscape deign is my love to theatre. I have been involved in theatre for a few decades. The stage design and the lighting is equally important in landscape as well.

Every site has its own intrinsic `drama'. My job as the landscape designer is to bring out the drama of a site; whether it is a stunning seaview, a wooded hill or simply a large open space, ideal landscape design brings out the best in nay view your site offers.

Whether it is a large garden for a colony you are looking at, or a weekend home to relax in or a statement estate, I have designed it all. So do look through my portfolio and see if I can create a memorable garden for you!

I am lucky to be born in a family where art, architecture and landscape has been almost traditional.

My great uncle XXX Vaidya was the Chief Engineer of the iconic Taj Mahal hotel. My father, S D Vaidya was the very first Landscape Architect in India. The late and great Dr Bhabha was so impressed by my father's ideas, he sent my father on a scholorship to Versailles to study Landscape Architecture. My father was the creator of the many gardens of the Atomic reserach centres around India. Later, my father joined the Taj group as their Chief Landscape Designer. One of his gardens that I personally love a lot is the the garden of the Fort Aguada and Hermitage gardens in Goa.
